Pre-work

All students are required to complete pre-work at least one week before the start of the course. During pre-work, you’ll get accustomed to the Canvas platform and build fundamental knowledge of IT systems and scripting using Kali Linux, Python, and Wireshark.

Phase 1

You’ll start with the fundamentals of Cyber Security, learning about network security components such as Ethernet and Wi-Fi, and exploring systems security with concepts such as operating systems architecture and system exploits.

Intermediate skills

Next, you’ll be briefed on military principles of intelligence analysis and the concept of cyber warfare. You’ll cover a range of Topics on securing the modern enterprise from outside threats, including governance, risk management and compliance.

Phase 3
Cyber Security skills development

Next, you’ll cover Python and engineering solutions. You’ll use basic coding to create Python scripts and automations, while you’ll also learn how to analyse logs in various network devices.

Phase 4
