The common misconception is that studying online means that you’re studying alone. This simply isn’t true, and at Open Colleges, we take great pride in the superior support we provide our students.

Our comprehensive support starts even before you’ve begun studying with our Study Kickstarter program. The Study Kickstarter program is designed to ease you into online study, rather than just throwing you in the deep end. You’ll learn about things like time management, smart study strategies and how to create a schedule that fits in with your lifestyle – all really important assets in your online study toolkit.         

If you need help, we have a dedicated support team based in Australia that is made up of Student Support, Learning Support, Academic Support and Trainers & Assessors.

Our Student Support team is here to help you with any non-academic questions. They can help you with the basics and answer any questions you have about enrolling and studying at Open Colleges.

Our Student Support team are here to help you with the basics. We also understand that all of our students like to get in touch with us in different ways, so we’ve made it easy for you to contact our Student Support team through email, live chat (where available) or by simply picking up the phone if you’d prefer to talk with a real person.  The team are there Monday – Friday (AEST business hours) and are also available 9am-5pm on the weekends, via live chat only.

Our Learning Support team will also be with you every step of the way, from enrolment to graduation. They’re here to help you get the most out of your online course. They can assist by providing non-academic support - like helping you craft an achievable study plan so that you can graduate in a realistic timeframe that accounts for your life’s other commitments. And if you’re finding it tough to stay motivated throughout your course, they’ll be there to help keep you on track. They can be reached over the phone or email from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Our Academic Support team is here to help you with academic-related matters including recognition of prior learning (RPL) submissions, credit transfers and reasonable adjustments to course content for students with specific needs. They can also help you with work placement support when you need it, so that you can gain hands-on skills in a real-world environment.

Finally, you have your Trainers and Assessors. They’ll be the ones delivering your training, reviewing your assessments and providing feedback. At Open Colleges, we take great pride in attracting amazing talent to our business, and that includes our qualified team of Trainers and Assessors.
