Basically, you can do anything if you want to achieve something great at the end. I’ve been attracted to interior design since I was twelve years old but I was too afraid to go to interior design school. When I finally had time to study, I decided to reach for my dream, so I took this awesome course.

The best thing about taking an online course is that I can study anytime and wear any clothes I want and having a cup of coffee without any distractions!

I never thought that this would be possible to do while the kids were still at home

I have always simply loved all animals so working with them has been something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time. The online learning environment works well for me and I plan to find full-time work in a Veterinary Nursing clinic when I finish my course – that’s my ultimate goal.

I can work five days a week and come home after work and get right into my studies

The course covers everything! I was just so impressed that Open Colleges could offer me something so affordable that was at such a high standard.

My Trainers and the Program Manager are amazing. My emails have been answered way quicker through Open Colleges than any uni study I’ve done, I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait more than 24 hours for a response. And the turnaround between when I’ve submitted my assignments and when I’ve gotten my marks has been ridiculously quick.

This course sets you up for running your own business. You go through a lot of customer service and legislation– things you wouldn’t normally think you’d associate with doing a Diploma of Beauty Therapy.

I wanted to begin my Certificate III straight away, and not wait for the next TAFE course to start, and Open Colleges allowed me to do this.

The course itself was great, with plenty of Trainer and fellow-student support via the online portal, if you need it. I just got down and applied myself to the assignments but it is important to be self-motivated and to have a work plan.

This course is the start of a new beginning for me. I’ve never studied anything before, so I am looking forward to one day having my own nail salon and having clients of my own.

I’d like my clients to be proud of wearing the nails I have done for them!

Even with Open Colleges themselves, admin, it’s the same thing, they reply to you and that makes you feel important.

It’s something I’ve always wanted to do but never found the outlet to do it. Open Colleges has given me the opportunity to be able to have that certificate that’s interested me for so long.

The Accounting Pathway Program and Certificate IV in Accounting courses give me the practical skills missing from my University course. These courses are giving me an excellent grounding in the practical accounting sphere.

You get a lot of help through the support of your Trainer. It makes study easy. Receiving quick clarification from my Trainer on assignment questions is incredibly helpful. I’m not wasting time misinterpreting things.
