Change lives by helping people through their struggles with alcohol and drugs, with this nationally recognised online course.

What you'll learn

  • Learn targeted skills to intervene in the lives of everyday people who are suffering under the grip of addiction to drugs and/or alcohol.

  • Get the skills you need to work with addicts to help them understand their addiction, and make concrete steps toward recovery.

  • This course will also train you to assess individual client needs and to develop and review alcohol and drug treatment plans to best meet these needs.

  • The accredited online drugs and alcohol course has been designed to provide you with a strong knowledge base as well as practical skills to help you to put that knowledge to work.

  • This online course will also prepare you to use your skills as a Drug and Alcohol Counsellor, through 120 hours of work placement in a working drug and alcohol counselling environment of your choice.
