The total estimated length of this course is 20 hours, which means you can study for a few hours a week, or you can study intensively over a number of days and have it completed sooner.

However, the maximum time limit is 6 months, so you will need to have it completed in that time.

The expiry date is 6 months after the day of enrolment.

Yes, there is a 3 day cooling off period from the date of enrolment. This means you can withdraw from the course within this cooling off period and receive a refund of the course fees paid.

Yes.  You can cancel your enrolment in the course at any time.

Subject to your rights under the Consumer Law, after the initial cooling off period of 3 days, the course is non-refundable if you choose to cancel your enrolment.

We encourage you to carefully consider whether this course is suited to your needs prior to enrolling and then during the cooling off period and ensure that you have read the Terms and Conditions that apply.

Throughout each module there will be learning activities that are designed to put what you’ve learnt into practice.

In ‘Let’s talk!’ learning activities, you will discuss ideas and concepts with your fellow students in a live discussion forum.

In ‘Let’s do it!’ learning activities, you will complete a range of activities and templates to immediately apply what you’ve learnt.

These learning activities are ‘social learning’, meaning they are not graded, but they are a valuable part of the learning experience that allows you to interact with your fellow students. These activities are a great way to build on your knowledge, share your learnings and learn from other students.

Nothing further is required except access to a printer to print your templates and checklists if desired.

You’ll need to ensure you also have the required hardware, software and internet connection.

It is your responsibility to ensure you complete the course by the course completion date.

You may be eligible for a short extension on application to SMC and you should contact them for more information.
