/ Kimberley Training Institute TAFE Courses and Campus Information

Kimberley Training Institute, originally known as Kimberley College of TAFE, was established in 1994. It is the largest Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in the area.

The Institute has 6 campuses, which are located in Broome, Derby, Kununurra, Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek and Wyndham. More than 120 qualifications are offered at Kimberley Training Institute, in areas including Health and Community Services, Metals and Mining, Agriculture, Education and Childcare, and Building and Construction.

Open Colleges is not affiliated with Kimberley Training Institute. This page is an information page only.

Open Colleges has a partnership with North Coast TAFE to deliver a series of TAFE courses in an online format.

Studying online vs. studying on campus

If you do not wish to study on campus, or if you are located in an area with limited or no access to TAFE courses, you may wish to consider online study. With Open Colleges’ unique model – you can study a select number of TAFE courses with Open Colleges’ trademark learning benefits:

  • Supportive: Our dedicated team of student support staff are on hand to help you achieve your goals from start to finish.
  • Affordable: Choose a payment method that suits your needs: monthly, fortnightly or weekly payment plans.
  • Flexible: Study when you can, no due dates, no start times. Structure your study around your current commitments.
