C. Y. O’Connor Institute (CYO) was established in July 1994 and named after C.Y. O’Connor who designed Goldfields Water Supply System. The Institute is backed by the Government of Western Australia and provides Technical and Further Education (TAFE) courses to the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, through 4 main campuses. These include Merredin, Narrogin, Moora and Northam.
Courses cover areas including Access and Participation, Agriculture, Business, Children’s Services, Education and Training, Education Support, Hairdressing, Health and Nursing, IT, Local Government, Retail, Trades, Visual Arts and Short Courses.
