Diploma of Community Services

The CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services will teach you skills in advocacy and case management. You'll develop knowledge on how to work with complex clients and implement community development strategies. You will also learn how to support community leadership, provide intervention strategies for clients with mental health and alcohol and other drug issues, and identify and respond to children and young people at risk.

This nationally recognised qualification includes Structured Workplace Learning. Graduates of the CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services will  receive credit into the degree programs at Charles Sturt University. Please contact us for more information about university pathways.

Open Colleges have partnered with Action for Children and the Aged (ACATA) Australia to offer students of the Diploma of Community Services the opportunity to complete their required work placement hours in 2018 over the course of 2 weeks in Fiji.

You’ll volunteer in Fijian communities by conducting public health screenings, promoting healthy eating habits and physical activity through basic counselling and community development initiatives.
