The Opportunity

Open Colleges is looking for a hands on, purpose driven Senior Brand Manager to join our best in class marketing team to continue to drive the brand forward and set the strategic brand direction for us.

The Senior Brand Manager will be influential in the development and execution of Open Colleges’ Brand strategy, working with agencies, partners and internal stakeholders to continually improve our brand health, drive demand and new audiences into our programs.

We have strong growth plans over the next 3 years, and the brand will be at the front of that. You will be will be responsible for reviewing the current brand positioning and making recommendations in upgrading the overall brand positioning to support our product portfolio.

This will be across all levels of customer bases by establishing the brand identity and having oversight of all agreed activities. You will be part of a very talented, award winning marketing team that continue to push the boundaries on our approach to data & technology and remain curious and open to all possibilities as they come up.
Key Responsibilities

  • End to End Campaign Management - Work with Media Agencies & partners to implement and execute brand campaigns across TV, Outdoor, Display, social, mobile, video, PR, content, experiential and leveraging Industry Partnerships
  • Creative Development – managing in-house creatives and external agencies to create compelling, engaging and relevant branded assets for online and offline channels
  • Tracking & Measurement - Conduct market surveys and research to maintain brand health dashboards and understanding of key brand and paid channel metrics
  • Customer & Category Insights - Monitor category, segment and consumer trends and provide recommendations for media activation, improving customer experiences, and opportunities for the Open Colleges brand
  • Champion the brand internally - Be the brand champion and activate internally to all staff
  • Leadership & Collaboration – take a leadership role within the brand and communications team, and work collaboratively with other key teams – Social, Performance media, Design, Web Development, Content, Communications, Product

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years in a brand and campaign related role
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management
  • Agency management experience
  • Up to date with Australian media landscape, media mix, channel and brand measurement
  • Strong digital skills, with focus on insight generation via channel and site analytics
  • Strong project management skills, and highly organized with strong attention to detail
