About the position

The Transitions and Course Change Manager is responsible for the scoping, prioritisation, management and execution of course transitions and course changes. This high impact role will coordinate all key stakeholders across multiple departments, ensuring that the transitions and course change process is managed as effectively and efficiently as possible, minimizing business and compliance risk.

Key responsibilities

  • Scope and document course transition and course change requirements
  • Brief and liaise with Product Development team on transition and course changes
  • Conduct risk / impact assessments to prioritise the development and execution of transitions and course changes
  • Frontline ownership and stakeholder management of all course transitions and course change communications
  • Facilitate effective communication networks with the wider company, through representation at meetings and driving transitions and course change to achieve business goals
  • Analyse current practices and propose innovations to improve transition/ course change processes and student experience

To be successful in this role, you will have the following key attributes and skills:

  • Knowledge of and experience in VQF
  • Ability to understand, interpret and apply training package requirements
  • Training and Assessment Qualification (TAE)
  • Experience (+3 year) in vocational education
  • Experience (+1 year) in distance, flexible or online learning
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience
  • Exposure to project management methodologies
  • Ability to build rapport and gain respect of colleagues
  • Highly driven and motivated to spearhead business and operational change
  • Experience with data reporting
  • Strong operational understanding of a high-volume service environment
