Jane is a highly accomplished architect and interior designer with extensive international experience, having completed projects in Barcelona, Dallas, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur, London, Melbourne, Moscow, Riyadh and Sydney. She has her own practice specialising in private residential projects in Melbourne's inner-city.

1 What's the one thing your clients love the most about your interior design services?

My clients love my collaborative design process, and that I take time to understand how they live and what inspires them.

Gaining the right experience and training are invaluable in the industry, as it will help you get the most out of your natural abilities and talents and will take you to the next level.

4 What's the best part about combining architecture and interior design?

I love it when the architecture, interior design and styling are homogenous, as it takes the design to the next level. This is one of the benefits of working in the private residential sector.

5 What advice would you offer students looking to get into the interior design industry?

My advice is to have a flexible career plan (as you never know where it may lead you), seek out mentors (formal and/or informal), be true to yourself and follow your heart.
