- Assist with turning a design into a pattern for production.
- Listen to the Designer and Senior Patternmaker and adjust pattern accordingly.
- Liaise between manufacturers and designers on feasibility of designs.
- Help create prototypes and samples of designs.
- Prepare technical packs for factories.
- Draw free-hand and be able to use computer software.
- Organise quotes for materials and participate in selection process.
