Friday treat – no-bake chewy granola bars

It’s Friday, it’s time to treat yourself. Whip up a batch of these delicious no-bake granola bars from Tasty this Friday.


  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup rice puffs
  • 1/4 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


  1. Add coconut oil, brown sugar, honey, and peanut butter to sauce pan. Cook on medium high heat until thickened.
  2. Turn off heat and stir in vanilla. Fold in quick oats and rice puffs.
  3. Pour into parchment lined 8×8 inch pan, flatten slightly and set aside to cool for 5 minutes at room temperature. Sprinkle chocolate chips and press in.
  4. Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes before slicing
