Sydney Institute of TAFE

Sydney Institute of TAFE (SIT), formerly known as The Sydney Institute of Technology, is one of 10 Institutes across NSW who provide Technical and Further Education (TAFE) courses. It is also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), meeting the requirements of the Australian VET Quality Framework.

Each year, 70,000 students enrol at Sydney Institute of TAFE, with provides around 800 courses. These are run online, or at the Institutes 7 colleges, which are spread out across 8 campuses throughout metropolitan Sydney. These include Design Centre Enmore, Eora, Petersham, Randwick, St George, Sutherland Gymea, Sutherland Loftus and their main head office in Sydney, in Ultimo.
