Even though you’re studying online, you can still get the practical skills you need. If your course contains a large practical component, you’ll usually gain these skills via a structured work placement and face-to-face workshops.

Work Placement

When your course requires it, a work placement can be a valuable addition to your learning. This is where you carry out activities at a real or simulated workplace under the guidance of an accredited professional to learn the types of practical skills you might be using in a job. It’s an exciting component of your studies designed to allow you to meet industry professionals and gain work-ready skills.
