Open Colleges' OpenSpace makes e-learning even easier
OpenSpace is like a virtual campus – it is Open Colleges' (Cengage Education) online space for students, trainers and staff to interact.
It provides you with a secure, interactive learning environment that allows you to access a wealth of learning resources, including:
- Student forums and lounges
- Trainer and mentor feedback
- Online libraries and mentors materials.
You'll receive a username and password when you enrol in your course, giving you access to OpenSpace.
With a computer and an internet connection, you can access your course from any location, at any time – with all the support and guidance you'll need to achieve your learning goals!
Student forums and lounges
OpenSpace makes it easy for you to communicate with academic staff and other students. In the forums, you can get academic advice from your trainers, discuss your studies with fellow students and receive support from experienced mentors.
The student lounges allow you to access course materials if you are studying online, as well as submit assessments, review feedback and marks from your trainers, and manage your study schedule with online calendars.
Online libraries
As an Open Colleges student, you'll have access to Gale – one of the world's largest online libraries. It contains millions of articles, covering everything from business and health care to technology and general interest subjects.
You won't have to go to the library to research assignments with so much mentors material at your fingertips!
