About the position

The Work Placements Industry Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining a national network of industry partnerships to support workplace learning across the Division. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring students can access placement within the Animal Care and Veterinary Nursing industry through establishing and maintaining processes for our national network of work placement partnerships.

In addition, the Work Placement Industry Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Continuous improvement of partnership procedures with a student experience focus
    Identifying opportunities for new industry partnerships
  • Ensuring work placement partnerships MOUs and agreements are in place for partnerships
  • Ensuring all partnership placements meet agreed guidelines and reconciling placement fees accordingly
  • Investigating student complaints in relation to work placement
  • Identifying OC students for available placements with partners
  • Case management of students requiring placement
  •  Developing and delivering industry specific advice for students at scale

Experience in:

  • The Animal Care and Veterinary Nursing Industry (+3 years)
  • Service Industry (+3 years)
  • Managing relationships such as work placements, internships, career placement programs (+1 year)
  • Working in a self-directed high-volume role (+1 year)
  • Vocational education and training environment (desirable)

Tertiary qualifications including:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (desirable)
