  • Assist with turning a design into a pattern for production.
  • Listen to the Designer and Senior Patternmaker and adjust pattern accordingly.
  • Liaise between manufacturers and designers on feasibility of designs.
  • Help create prototypes and samples of designs.
  • Prepare technical packs for factories.
  • Draw free-hand and be able to use computer software.
  • Organise quotes for materials and participate in selection process.
